This is the fifth of a series of blog posts I’ll be publishing where I set the table for the type of life I will be forging from here on in. It is a ten-part series, which will be posted daily.
“Man… I want that!”
We’ve all said that at one point or another. We set our sights on something and work hard to get it. Those are the perks that make life worthwhile.
Yeap… believe it or not, I’m not all about work.
It is my main focus… but I do like to have fun once in a while. Unfortunately, just like my relationships with friends and family, it has
Which is why I have set up some lifestyle goals for myself.
My Lifestyle: Five Years from Now
As with my other life goals, I’ve created a five-year plan to guide myself into owning everything I should have and visit every place I should by the year 2020.
First thing I wanna stack is my closet.
I’m a big suits guy. I love nice clothes. And I love nice shoes. I feel those are the things that make you stand out from a crowd. I love to stand out… so stacked closet with fine clothes is one of my main desires.
I also want to build an awesome toolbox for those times I feel creative. Now, don’t get me wrong – I’m not going to go around my house being Mr. DIY guy. But as a guy, I’m sure I’m going to have those moments when I want to build (or destroy) something. I want to have the right tools at my disposal to do so.
And yeap… I want to learn as many recipes as I can. I consider myself a foodie (who loves chips), and simple rice and chicken doesn’t excite me when it’s chow time. So I want to combine my love for grilling with new, exciting recipes that I can cook for myself, my friends, and my family.
These are the lifestyle goals I’m focusing on for the rest of 2015. What are those things you want to do? Which places do you want to visit before everything is said and done? Share them with a comment below. Or take the conversation to your favorite social media platform.
