We constantly hear about first impressions and how important they are for the future of your relationships. With both personal and professional connections.
Well, today I will reinforce that feeling. And if you’re one of those who are trying to find the path to success, yet believe that first impressions don’t matter, I urge you to change your way of thinking starting now.
Everybody judges those who surround them. And if they tell you otherwise, they are full of it. Because then they’ll have to admit that they like every single person they have met in their life. And I haven’t met someone capable of liking everyone yet.
So, until I find someone who does, to me, the “I don’t judge people” statement is a bald-faced lie.

Your overall appearance: the way you dress, how you treat your face and hair. if you’re fit or not, how your shoes look, the way you express yourself. All of those (and more) are factors to the equation that is the first impression you give to people.
Now, how can people give a good first impression? While your esthetics should be built based upon the brand you’re trying to develop, the character trait that always gives an impactful first impression is helpfulness.
Always be open to helping whoever needs it. Answer questions without beating around the bush and give valuable information. And don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty if someone needs you to.
First impressions get you closer to getting the keys to the kingdom of trust. If you make a horrible first impression, it will be next to impossible for you to go through that door.
