You may be thinking “well, that’s easy. I’ll just sell to as many people as I can.” But that’s the wrong approach.
It might seem like a great idea to sell your concept to EVERYONE you come across. But that means you’d have to create a marketing message for every type of customer. And, unless you’re selling water to people in the middle of a desert, you will not be appealing to everybody.
You must focus your message on the people who have an interest in buying from you. That way, you will have a uniformed message that you can present across all your media channels.
A narrowed focus creates more opportunities.
