One of the things I’m proud of is the fact that I’ve managed to keep a business mind even at the worst of times.
People think that having a business mind is about knowing how to make money – but in reality, there’s a lot more to it. It’s about having the focus to keep the eye on the prize (so to speak), and being able to stay organized and presentable – even in the worst of times.
Not to brag, but I have learned to do all three of these things. Which have made me a valuable asset for any company I work for. And one of the things that help me look like I’m always ready for business is my ability to build offices wherever I go.
I believe people underestimate the value of having a place where all your paperwork is organized, and you can also conduct meetings and attend financial matters. Without an office, you’ll likely have all your documents spread around the house. Which can make things difficult when it comes to looking for papers when pressed with time.
Make sure you separate a room for an office – it will make your life a lot easier.
